Simone Lacour, Abstract Composition
A near-monochrome oil on canvas by Belgian artist Simone Lacour, where only a few blue-grey and red accents emerge from a dark surface. Its power lies in restraint and in the way new nuances appear depending on the light.

This Abstract Composition by Simone Lacour is executed in oil on canvas. A near-monochrome work in which Lacour reduces the image to its essence. From a dark surface, only a few blue-grey and red accents emerge.
In contrast to her more gestural works on paper, the strength here lies in restraint and stillness.
Depending on the light, new nuances appear in the dark surface.
A work that rewards patient looking.
- Medium: Oil on canvas
