Modern Antiques is the Antwerp-based vintage furniture gallery of Sam Rosenboom. What began as a childhood hobby grew into a lifelong passion. At the age of twelve, Sam was already spending weekends exploring local antique markets, drawn to the stories and craftsmanship hidden in forgotten objects.  Today, that curiosity continues to shape his work. Modern Antiques focuses on European vintage and design pieces from the 1930s through the 1970s, with a particular appreciation for mid-century design. Sam approaches each object with a trained eye for proportion, materials, and patina. Rather than selecting pieces based on famous names, he looks for strong shapes, honest craftsmanship, and a presence that can elevate a space.

Every piece in the collection is personally sourced by Sam across Europe, from small markets in France to major design fairs in Italy. Each object is carefully inspected and chosen for its ability to bring character, individuality, and warmth to contemporary interiors. The result is a collection that feels cohesive yet distinctive, far removed from mass production.Through this approach, Modern Antiques has built an international client base that includes interior architects, private collectors, and galleries around the world. Pieces from the collection have found their way into interiors across cities such as Beirut, Dubai, and Los Angeles.
