Meet DTM Funk: a Rumi Friend born from a lifelong devotion to sound.
For David Tricot music has always been about more than what comes out of the speakers. A DJ, curator and devoted record collector, he has spent years digging for sounds, rhythms and stories that deserve to be heard.

That passion found a physical home in Black Gravity Records, his Antwerp record store and listening space. A place built around discovery, where music is given the time and attention it deserves and where sharing a record can be as meaningful as finding one.

As a Rumi Friend, David brings that same intention to Rumi Ground Floor through our recurring Listening Sessions. Each session starts from a personal selection. Records chosen not just for the sound, but for what they carry.
No two evenings are the same, but the intention always is: music that moves mind and body.

At Rumi, we believe the best moments are shared and intentional.
DTM Funk brings that to life through music, gathering a small group around a record and the stories it carries.
